With another twist to Sushant Singh Rajput’s (SSR) case, Rhea Chakraborty filed an FIR against SSR’s sister, the case has been registered under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances acts. According to media reports, the case has been transferred to the CBI for a detailed investigation of the case, and the CBI now will investigate and look for legal opinions on Rhea’s FIR. Meanwhile, the CBI is awaiting the response from the DOPT team and department of legal prosecution if the FIR filed immediately is applicable or if another FIR will need to be filed.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti expressed herself on twitter; the tweet reads, “Nothing’s gonna break us, definitely not this fake FIR!”
As per the reports, the complaint filed by Rhea Chakraborty is a six-page long complaint, within the complaint, Rhea specified that Sushant gave up the ghost five days after his sister Priyanka had unlawfully prescribed him certain drugs. Rhea filed her complaint within the Bandra police headquarters after spending nearly six and a half hours there. The complaint was registered under Narcotic Drugs and Psamotropic Substances Act.
Vikas Singh, the lawyer of Sushant Singh Rajput’s family said “I am given a complaint filed by Rhea Chakraborty in Bandra police headquarters . it’s an at concerning is the diction of Mumbai police during this matter when SC said complaints with reference to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput are going to be investigated by CBI. So, the clear plan is to somehow keep the Mumbai Police active during this matter in order that they will do some mischief and make sure that the family of Sushant doesn’t get justice during this matter.”
He further added, “This could be a plan to divert the mind of the people and derail the probe. The family wasn’t conscious of the intensive drug angle. If Bandra Police accepts the complaint, it’ll be a violation of the order of the Supreme Court and hence a contempt of the court. If Bandra Police proceeds with it, we’ll take the interest the Supreme Court under contempt of court.”
