The universally famous and loved cast of Friends is all geared up to reunite for a special on HBO Max, a streaming platform. It is expected to be released in the month of May 2020.

According to Warner Media, the special will be unscripted and feature David Crane and Martha Kauffman, creators of the show, and all the six lead actors Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer. The most iconic thing about this special is that it will be staged in the Warner Bros lot in Burbank where the show was originally filmed.

Kevin Riley, Chief Content Officer of HBO Max, said in a statement “Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together. The show taps into an era when friends and audiences gathered together in real-time, and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans.”

For the fans all over the world, all the 10 seasons of Friends will be available on HBO Max to stream.

The news broke down on the internet after Mathew Perry took Instagram to announce their reunion with a picture of the cast and captioned it as “It’s happening”. Fans are extremely excited, since Jennifer Aniston hinted her fans last year about a possible reunion episode, and it’s finally happening in 2020.
