Actress Rhea Chakraborty has been questioned for days by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) regarding her alleged links with drug peddlers and has been named in the drug trial by the NCB repeatedly. NCB sources revealed that Chakraborty named twenty-five other Bollywood celebrities who are linked to the drug trail. A few names which allegedly came out of the list of celebrities were Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Simone Khambhata. It was claimed that these celebrities have consumed narcotic substances. Reports had earlier revealed that the three used and drugs together with Sushant Singh Rajput.

NCB Deputy Director KPS Malhotra claimed that no Bollywood list has been made. The NCB had earlier prepared a list of peddlers and traffickers which is probably being misunderstood as the celebrities.

Rhea had been arrested by the NCB last week in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. They found a drug angle in his death and hence arrested Chakraborty for it as she was found suspicious. On Friday, her bail plea was rejected in Mumbai’s Special court. Chakraborty’s brother, Showik was also arrested in the same case as his role was also found suspicious. His bail plea has also been rejected. Rhea is presently in judicial custody till September 22 and is held in Byculla jail. The drug angle for the Sushant Singh Rajput case had been mucked by the Enforcement Directorate of India.  The directorate even probed into the money laundering angle and accessed his chat records.

Rhea has claimed that she was coerced to make the statements during her interrogation and that a false narrative is being presented in front of the court and media. The case is still under trial. The documents are still being investigated to get a true judgment in the case.
