Actresses Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali khan were being questioned in the drug trail related to the Sushant Singh Rajput case. According to the NCB the actress have denied the all allegations against the substance abuse. The actresses claimed that they were referring to the hand rolled cigarettes in their WhatssApp chats as “doob”. The NCB official revealed that the actresses claimed that they don’t even smoke cigarettes.
The actresses claimed that they had no idea about Sushant Singh Rajput’s drug habits. The NCB officials said more data will be revealed after the technical analysis of their phones. The phones were handed in willingly by the actresses to the NCB. All the doubts will be cleared as soon as the technical analysis results would be out.
In the meantime a former executive producer of Dharmatic entertainment said in the magistrate that he was harassed to make a statement that would act against Karan Johar. His lawyer claimed that his statements were taken under duress and was offered the deal that if he would say anything against Johar his allegations would be refuted. He was arrested on Saturday regarding the case and has been remanded to NCB custody till October 3, 2020.
An NCB official claimed that he is was a key accused to the drug syndicate and he has not been very cooperative during the investigation. The accusation included of carrying ganja from Anand Singh, Ankush and Ibrahim to Sushant’s manager Samuel Miranda. This is one of the key reasons for the NCB custody in order to probe more in the case.
Manish Shinde claims NCB is threatening him to bring out a forced confession out of him. During the raid in his house only one stale cigarette bud was found from the balcony but they claimed it was Ganja. Even though he had protested repeatedly claiming that it was not Ganja his plea was not heard.
