NCB summons Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh in drugs case

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) issued summons to Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Rakul Preet Singh on Wednesday in a drug related case.

According to news reported by ANI, Deepika Padukone will be summoned on September 25 while Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan will be summoned on September 26. 

But, according to the ANI reports, NCB reached the residence of Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan to serve the summon today.

Padukone’s name was allegedly reported as the screenshot of one of the WhatsApp chats from Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash and one “D” came in the radar of the agency. NCB had summoned Karishma Prakash on Tuesday but she did not appear due to ill health. KWAN talent agency had numerous Bollywood actors in the list and Deepika is one from the list. She meets a lawyer as she is expected to leave Goa as NCB summons in a drug case.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Madhu Mantena, co-producer of 2016 film ‘Udta Punjab’ was summoned by NCB. NCB recorded his statement. Sushant’s talent manager Jaya Saha was questioned by NCB on Monday.

Till date, NCB has arrested numerous public figures including Rhea Chakraborty with his brother Showik and many more in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. According to various reports, Rhea had confessed the actress’ names in drug cases.

The hearing of the bail plea of Chakraborty and her brother will be heard tomorrow due to the holiday in Bombay High Court on Wednesday. The High Court declared holiday due to heavy rains in the city adding that all the hearing of today will be carried tomorrow.
