Secretariat inauguration to be done on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s birthday

A. Santhi Kumari, the chief secretary, spoke during a high-level meeting on Tuesday at BRKR Bhavan about managing the traffic for the upcoming Formula E race, which will take place on February 11th, as well as the inauguration of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat Complex on February 17th.

From February 5th to 11th, due to the Formula E race, traffic will be restricted from Telugu Talli Flyover to Khairatabad Flyover via Mint and Prasad’s.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat complex is scheduled to be inaugurated on February 17th, the birthday of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. A plan for alternative routes has been created to avoid any further delays. The officials at the meeting were given the specifics of the high-level security for the inauguration and discussed to have asked the police, R&B, GAD, Telangana Special Police, and IT departments to collaborate closely for the inauguration.

Three hundred men will guard the Secretariat building against the city police force and three companies of the Telangana Special Police. The Traffic Police have assigned about 22 persons to this task. The Chief Secretary supervises the maintenance of all surveillance apparatus, including body scanners, vehicle scanners, and baggage scanners.

Parking spaces are available at the 28-acre Secretariat facility for 560 cars and more than 900 two-wheelers. Six Sentry stations surround the Secretariat. In addition to a special command control room, there are approximately 300 CCTV cameras. Each visitor would receive a unique identity card that will be used to track their movements. The Secretariat building has two fire engines with 34 firefighters and fire safety features. All floors, except for the sixth, will be open for visitors.

On January 31st, Arvind Kumar, Special Chief Secretary for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, and other Greenko Hyderabad EPrix and ABB FIA Formula E World Championship representatives visited the Formula E racetrack.
