Bus crashes into stationary truck in Agra; 4 dead, 19 injured

On the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in the Fatehabad area of Agra, a sleeper coach bus rammed into a stationary truck early on Saturday, killing four people and injuring about 24 others, according to the Police. 

According to Fatehabad, the assistant commissioner of police (ACP), the accident happened at 5.40 am when a bus from Varanasi crashed into a vehicle while it was passing. The cop went on to say, “Those injured were admitted to SN Hospital in Agra.”In addition to Govind Lal, 68, and Ramesh, 45, both from Jodhpur, the deceased include 40-year-old Deepak Verma and 40-year-old Bablu from Agra.

After the incident, the four dead were brought to SN Medical College in Agra for a postmortem. They are identified as Jodhpur residents Govind Lal, 68, and Ramesh Kumar, 45. Police stated they were 40-year-old Agra citizen Deepak Verma and 40-year-old Mirzapur citizen Bablu Singh. “So far, no complaint has been received,” the SHO continued. In this situation, we are thinking of submitting a suo motu FIR.

Yamuna E-way accident loses a woman’s life. In another accident, a bus struck the car they were in on Friday night on the Yamuna Expressway within the borders of the Mant police station in the Mathura district, killing one woman and injuring four others. The car’s passengers were on their way from Lucknow to Delhi. As per Mathura police, Geeta Sharma, a resident of Mayur Residency in Lucknow died during treatment. She was traveling to Noida for a wedding.

In another incident, four men were hurt on Friday night after a car struck a divider on the Yamuna Expressway close to Raytown in the Mathura district.
