Vicky Kaushal established his first commercial success as a leading actor with this achievement. Within its run Sanju managed to reach Rs 300 crore at the box office under his supporting character. Rashmika Mandanna entered the Rs 300 crore club for the third time following her performances in Pushpa 2 and Animal.

At the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan inaugural function Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged Chhaava with a special mention. According to him in that moment “It is Maharashtra and Mumbai which have elevated Hindi cinema together with Marathi cinema.” Today Chhaava creates a megawatt effect whereas Maharashtra and Mumbai serve as the forces that elevated Marathi movies together with Hindi films. Chhaava has become the talk of the town during this present time.

The directorial vision of Laxman Utekar assembled five actors alongside Akshaye Khanna who performed pivotal parts in the movie with Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh and Santosh Juvekar.
