The microblogging site ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), owned by billionaire Elon Musk, now allows verified organizations the chance to publish job postings on their accounts. According to the business, the tool will aid concerned businesses in locating qualified applicants for the positions advertised on X Hiring Beta.
“Exclusively for Verified Organisations, unlock early access to the X Hiring Beta. Feature your most important positions to reach millions of qualified people organically,” X noted in a post on X.
According to a CNBC article, X has recently forayed into the world of professional networking with a beta version of Hiring, a fresh feature designed to compete with job hunting websites like LinkedIn. X posted on their website, “Sign up for early access to X Hiring, currently available for Verified Organizations. If eligible, we’ll enable the Hiring features on your account,”
The Hiring tool is currently restricted to verified organizations only. According to the article, the firm charges $1,000 (or around 82,300) each month for the ability to post jobs on its website.
Observers hailed the new Hiring function after its debut as an important step towards transforming X into a “everything app.” Although it might not prove to be a direct threat to LinkedIn, the action demonstrates its desire to expand its reach in the IT sector, according to sources from CNBC.
Since Elon Musk took control of X last year, several changes have been made. He recently uploaded a picture of his kid, X A-XII, on X. The youngster is shown in the image standing in front of a large X logo.
Elon Musk’s kid, affectionately known as Lil X, can be seen in the uploaded photo sporting a white t-shirt and khaki trousers that are knee-length.
He is shown smiling broadly and joyfully while holding a tumbler in his hand and looking directly into the camera. The setting is well caught as the subject stands in front of a giant white X symbol that is painted on a black wall.
