50 teachers have been invited by the Ministry of Education to attend the 77th Independence Day event at the Red Fort distinguished by “special guests.” The group of educators has been chosen for exemplifying excellent passion and dedication in their disciplines to mould and nurture pupils.
They were invited by the Department of School Education and Literacy. These educators all hail from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghathan (KVS) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)-accredited institutions across the nation.
From August 14 to 15, the educators will participate in a two-day course. They will pay respect to the fallen at the Kartavya Path, the India Gate, the War Memorial, and the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya. An interactive session with Union Minister of State Rajkumar Ranjan Singh will follow.
According to a government announcement, by issuing this invitation, the government is paying tribute to the contribution of teachers, whose unshakable dedication is crucial in fostering the nation’s future. “Through this recognition on the occasion of the Independence Day Ceremony, the Ministry is honouring the contribution of teachers who play a vital role in nurturing the future of the nation with their unwavering commitment,” it said. “Their role in fostering knowledge, values, and skills in the young generation is invaluable, and this gesture seeks to express the nation’s gratitude to them,” it added.
