Apollo tyres has signed-up a whooping 579-crore deal with Board of Control Cricket Control in India (BCCI) and is all set to be the new jersey sponsor for both men and women for a period of three years. The Government of India has passed a bill on Aug 25, 2025 in regard to the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill which forced Dream 11 to cut ties with BCCI with immediate effect. When the BCCI announced a new sponsor immediately after it cut ties with dream 11, it has made sure that no kind of betting apps, tobacco products, crypto, non-alcoholic beverages, sportswear, cold beverages will be promoted in.
When the forms rolled out on the official website of BCCI, there were doubts on whether the board will receive a sum equivalent to the sum it received from dream 11. Apollo tyres has placed a bid amount of 579.06 crores. Apart from Apollo tyres an Australian based-company Canva placed the second highest bid of 554.48 crores
India’s men and women who are representing themselves in Asia cup and a bilateral series are currently without a lead sponsor. In the new deal, Apollo Tyres will pay Rs 4.5 crore for all international fixtures outside ICC tournaments. Additionally, In the three-year cycle period, the men’s team is scheduled to play a T20-World Cup next year and also play the One-Day-International (ODI) World Cup which will be held in the year 2027. The Women’s team is set to play a 50-over World Cup later this year and also play the T20 World Cup next year. The deal also includes BCCI’s under-19 men and women’s team too.
