As part of Seva Parv, the government has unveiled special documentary programs about development and public service. These air on DD National and DD News. The effort comes from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. It marks Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday celebrations.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw officially launched the promos. He said they showcase the spirit of “Karmayog” – a lifelong commitment to service. He described how the Prime Minister has put his own interests aside. He has stayed dedicated to nation-building.
Vaishnaw pointed out that in the last 11 years, India has made visible progress, even in remote villages. What once took decades is now being achieved in shorter periods. He also noted that, globally, India is gaining new respect. This is for its advances in technology, creativity, social justice, and inclusive growth. On this occasion, Vaishnaw began his day by donating blood.
The content of the documentaries is inspirational. Stories of public service, development, and a sense of shared responsibility are at the centre. DD News will show three national-level documentaries. It will also run the series Mera Gaon Aaj, which focuses on development in Indian villages under the PM’s leadership.
On DD National, viewers will get to see Swa se Samagra Tak. It highlights holistic progress and growth. These documentaries will also be translated into regional languages and shown on regional DD News channels. This is to reach people in their own languages.
The specific programmes include: Sankalp Ki Shakti, Sushasan Ka Samarthya, Vishwa Patal par Netritva ka Shankhnaad, Karmyog – Ek Antheen Yatra, Swa Se Samagra Tak, Documentaries at Regional Level, and Mera Gaon Aaj.
