Spotify released its annual recap of 2025, offering users an in depth view of their listening history of the year. The update brought back the tracking features and added new features showcasing how people choose to engage with Spotify listening.
Spotify Wrap 2025 presents the highlights of the total minutes that people have listened to: what songs and their artists which contains the top songs, top artists, favourite genre and top podcasts. Spotify also provided listeners with a personalized message from their favourite artists including the ones who participated in 2025’s creator program.
This year Spotify has introduced many new features like the Listening Age which compares the user’s song preferences with the listeners who come under the same age group. There is a feature called Top Album, highlighting the albums the listeners preferred the most throughout the year. Top Song Quiz allows users to guess their most played song of the year.
Wrapped introduced the Fan Leaderboard which ranks the users among a particular artist’s ‘around the world listeners’ based on the minutes streamed on their albums. Another feature, Top Artist Sprint, visualizes a fun race of user’s top five artists shifted in the monthly rankings.
Other than that, another feature that was introduced, Clubs groups the users globally into any one of the six categories that describes their listening habits. Spotify also launched the AI-powered Listening Archive that gives the users five personalized reports of their listening moments from different months of the year.
Listeners of audiobooks and podcasts got a refreshed section. They can check their top genre and receive a recorded message from their top authors.

This year, Spotify has introduced the Wrapped Party feature that gives users a recap of their year’s listening with their friends. The platform is hosting about 50 events in major cities which will be featuring artists like Oasis in Manchester and Jennie in Seoul.
