In Pimpri-Chinchwad, early trends show a neck-to-neck fight between the BJP and Ajit Pawar’s NCP for the Pune Municipal Corporation elections (PMC).
According to official reports, the BJP is leading in 15 seats, while the NCP (Nationalist Congress Party) is leading in 14. Shiv Sena has 2 seats, NCP Sharad Pawar has 1, while Congress and Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray – Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (UBT MNS) have secured none so far.
