According to media reports, in the Aurangabad (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar) Municipal Corporation election, the Bharatiya Janata Party is in the lead with 15 seats out of the available 113 seats. The Shiv Sena has 12 seats, while the Shiv Sena (UBT) holds its position with six seats.

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen is leading in eight seats, while the Indian National Congress is ahead in three seats. The Nationalist Congress Party is leading in two seats, while the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) is leading in one seat.
