The Mahayuti alliance, consisting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena and National Congress Party (NCP), is leading in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections in 102 wards. Following them, the Thackeray brothers, Uddhav Thackeray (UBT) and Raj Thackeray of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), are leading in 57 wards. The Congress and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) alliance is leading in 3 wards. Others/independent candidates are leading in 5 wards. The counting is in progress for 167 out of the 227 wards in BMC.
