Bollywood actor, Arshad Warsi, has confirmed the release of ‘Welcome 3.’ The movie will include a superhit cast, including Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. He has ended all the unconfirmed claims and rumors by verifying that ‘Welcome 3’ is in production.
Warsi, well-known for his excellent acting especially in comedy, discussed his upcoming movie ‘Jolly LLB 3’ in an interview. In the interview, he spoke of the much-awaited sequel of ‘Welcome’ as a dramatic production. Warsi said, “Welcome 3 is a larger-than-life theatrical production, and the budget is huge. Even the climax of the movie is very unreal.”
After being asked about his absence from the big screen for a few years, Warsi said, “The Bollywood movie industry is evolving and is mostly into superhero films. Those movies only get released in the theatres. The dynamics of the industry have changed. And I prioritize job satisfaction over financial gain. These movies are all about big players and are bigger than life. And I don’t see myself there. The most important thing for me is job satisfaction. And I don’t imagine working for smaller bits in these large films, even though this will get me money. I am just working on Welcome 3 and was not interested in the rest.”
The ‘Munnabhai’ actor also stated, “There are many more people in it, including Paresh Rawal, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, and me.”
Even though Warsi expressed doubts about the making of ‘Munnabhai 3’, he was very sure about Jolly LLB 3, which also stars Akshay Kumar. Warsi mentioned, “The shooting of the film will start in January, and it is one of those films that show how the actual world works. It talks about the good versus the bad in the world.”
When asked about his absence in Jolly LLB 2, Warsi stated, “The movie makers wanted me to play a part. I feel like they want to upscale the movie. I remember telling Subhash Kapoor, the movie’s director, to work with Akshay Kumar. If they want an audience in the courtroom, I can only provide 500, while Akshay can provide 5000. Still, people appreciated me and wanted to see me. So, here I am. People will appreciate seeing me and Akshay together on the big screen”.
