Counting is underway for the Bhiwandi-Nizampur Municipal Corporation Election 2026, with early trends showing Congress–VAB ahead on 12 seats while the ruling Mahayuti alliance trails. Polling was held on January 15 across 90 wards, with over 6.69 lakh registered voters participating. In the previous 2017 elections, Congress had emerged as the single largest party.
