The counting of votes for the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections began at 10 am today, January 16. has been in progress since 10 am today, January 16.The live updates indicate the BJP has been in a clear lead from the start in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal elections.
According to recent media reports, the BJP is leading in 70 seats, the NCP is behind in 40, the Shiv Sena is 7, Independent 1, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) 1, and NCP Sharad Pawar 1. The first trend seems to be favouring the BJP. As per the results BJP’s position in the municipal corporation has further strengthened in terms of majority.
