Congress has raised and expressed suspicions about Operation Sindoor and called it out to be “fishy” stating different conflicting statements were released by the Chief of Defence Staff and Army Chief.

Ajay Rai, a Congress leader talking to reporters in an interview talked about how there were conflicting statements by the chief authorities and both their statements spoke and talked about different things. He stated how “different people give their statements in a different way.” This clearly means something else that is fishy is what he put forward.

He further went on to seek the whole truth and reality regarding the matter, urging the government to shed some light and clarity for the same.

His statement was right after the following remarks from the Air Force Chief Amar Preet Singh who dismissed Pakistan’s claims of shooting down Indian jets during Operation Sindoor, which he called “Manohar Kahaniyan.”

Addressing the press conference on the 93rd Air Force celebrations in New Delhi,  Amar Preet Singh talked about how the Pakistani army had no basis and evidence to support the claims, while India shared footage and pictures for the Pakistani targets during Operation Sindoor.

He further argued how Pakistan has been circulating and making such claims to save face and mislead the Pakistani public.

Apparently, he conveyed in the press conference how Pakistan has repeatedly claimed that it had downed several one of Indian fighter jets.

This was all in regards to an earlier statement that was given to Reuters which was made by Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan that India had suffered initial losses during the operation, but exempted on giving more details about the same.
