Former Cooperation Minister of Karnataka, KN Ranjanna, alleges ‘huge conspiracy’ after his dismissal from the cabinet of Karnataka.

During the resignation of KN Ranjanna from the state cabinet, he questioned the state’s Congress Party about their decision to remain silent after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi remarks on ‘vote chori’. In an interview with ANI, he states that ‘there is a huge plot and conspiracy behind his dismissal from the state cabinet. His statements regarding the ‘vote chori’ have been misunderstood and he will take conscious efforts to eradicate the misunderstanding.’

Ranjanna claimed that it was during the tenure of Congress that the entire voter scam took place. Giving BJP a clear opportunity to attack Congress, Ranjanna said,” It is not the first time that the voters list has been prepared. Even during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, everything was happening in the forefront, yet no one spoke and the ruling Congress took no action in the state.” He further announced that he will clear this misunderstanding and will soon meet the senior Congress members like Rahul Gandhi and KC Venugopal in Delhi.

Acknowledging the decisions for the senior congress leaders, he said that, “It has been claimed that the draft regarding the same has been dissolved from the office of the Governor. This decision was made by the higher authorities; the decision was taken by Congress.”

The comments made by the Congress leader came into light after Rahul Gandhi, the senior member of Congress and the Leader of Opposition, exposed the alleged electoral fraud that took place during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He claimed that the central constituency of Bengaluru solely held a record of almost one lakh fake votes.

KN Ranjanna was removed from the ‘Council of Ministers’ by the Karnataka state government with immediate effect, after he publicly alleged that ‘the voter theft took place right before Congress!’
