Mumbai’s Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections have recorded a turnout of 52.94% taking a sharp dip from 55.53% voter turnout in 2017. This clearly states that even after a fierce battle ongoing between Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance the voter response has been lukewarm at best.

Ward 114, Suburban Bhandup has recorded the highest turnout of 65.53% whereas the lowest has been recorded at ward 227, Colaba. Reasons of low turnout could be missing names from the voter list and booth confusions.
