Shweta Sharda’s name has recently taken the spotlight, being crowned the winner of Miss Diva Universe 2023. The grand finale of the beauty pageant saw the 22-year-old shine like a star in a dazzling thigh-slit gown designed by Nikita Mhaisalkar.

Hailing from Chandigarh, Shweta made the bold move to Mumbai at the age of 16 while facing financial hurdles. Her single mother played a pivotal role in her life, becoming her pillar of strength. Infact, during the Q&A portion of the pageant finale, the winner named her mother as the most influential person in her life.

Having completed her education under the CBSE board, the diva is currently pursuing her graduation through the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Beyond academics, she has previously ventured into the world of dance reality shows like Dance+, Dance Deewane, and Dance India Dance. Notably, she also appeared as a choreographer on Jhalak Dikhlaja.

“When I got a chance to work and teach my dancing to India’s most loveable actors I have seen on television or the big screen, like Deepika Padukone, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Mouni Roy and Vaibhavi Merchant, the evergreen diva Madhuri Dixit!” Shwetha recalls her proudest achievement.

Shweta recently graced the music video for the song ‘Mast Aankhein’ alongside Bollywood actor Shantanu Maheshwari. With over 4 lakh followers on Instagram, her popularity on social media has soared.

The diva’s journey so far has culminated in her being declared as Miss Diva Universe 2023, a title that propels her onto the global stage. After the recent win, she is now set to represent India at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador later this year.
