Three passengers were charred to death and fifteen were left injured when a private bus heading to Hyderabad from Nellore crashed with a container truck in Nandyal district, Andhra Pradesh.

The tragedy happened around 2am in Shrivella mandal which is near Shrivellametta village when the tire of the ARBCVR Private Travels bus burst. The driver of the  bus lost control , crossed the divider of the road,slammed head-on -to the container lorry that was coming from opposite direction.The collision was followed by a massive that enveloped both the vehicles while the passengers were trapped inside.The police reported that the truck driver, the bus driver and truck cleaner consumed by fire.

While passing the accident spot a local minivan driver immediately stopped to rescue.He immediately broke the windows  which helped the passengers in escaping the fire.Several passengers suffered from severe burn injuries, the remaning were wounded while trying to flee from the windows and doors with the help of rescue workers and bystanders.

The injured passengers were taken to the Nandyal Government General Hospital for treatment where the doctor stated that the patients were in stable conditions.Firefighters and police arrive immediately at the scene after the collision took place.There  was traffic congestion in the national highway for some hours because of the accident.The officials are inspecting the cause of the tyre burst, whether the factors contributed are mechanical or human.

Sunil Sheoran, the Nandyal SP, visited the accident spot to investigate the matter.BC Janardhan Reddy, the Roads and Building minister conveyed condolences to the families of the injured and told the medical officials to provide best medical care.
