Novo Nordisk India has partnered with Healthify, a platform launched to curate programs for individuals living with obesity. The Danish drugmaker, in its statement, emphasised that the structured program is facilitated by AI, enabling improved patient experience, outcomes, and adherence.

When the treatment journey commences, the AI assistant ensures that obesity care is viewed through a broad spectrum, ensuring greater accessibility. The AI assistant has been developed in a manner which ensures tracking of nutrition across different stages of the treatment journey.

The CEO of Healthify, Tushar Vashisht, emphasised that the goal is to help users access the platform by integrating AI, which will enable real-time intelligence, coaching, and the right tools to build consistency. The consistency facilitates the building of healthier habits for the long term. The dietitian’s plan is personalised for the patients under care. The data and the insights received through the app will help draft better future global programs.

The Managing Director, Vikrant Shrotriya, emphasised the role of leaders in GLP-1 and how innovation through medicine and preventive care with the help of AI can help curb obesity. Patient guidance is the fundamental aspect ensuring enhanced patient experience and outcomes.

Healthify is a digital wellness platform. Its headquarters are situated in Bangalore. It tracks nutrition and guides users to develop a diet-based plan based on their health, goals and body structure. The diet-based plan takes allergies and food preferences into consideration. The goal of the app is to guide citizens towards healthy living through proper nutrition intake. It has recently launched Ria Voice, a real-time health coach. It is highly interactive and a multimodal AI. The tools utilised make the AI conversation sound humanised. It was the first company that, on a global level to use audio-native health agent and a fully multimodal AI in its production, which facilitated users to interact with the coach, display their meals and diet intake. Thus, receiving instant feedback on the spot and in real time.

The 3.0 revolution that Ria brings ensures that it reaches a wider audience. The system is currently able to detect emotions, can understand different accents, can run on mixed coded languages, and the response delay is minimal. The 3.0 revolution is a transition from older voice assistants, which solely depended on transcribing speech and generating a response. This results in a delayed response.

Healthify has successfully eliminated the manual entries of daily food intake, and the individual has to navigate to the food tab, open the camera application and display their food. Users who are uncomfortable with the option or have difficulties navigating can describe their meal.  The company is experimenting with Meta’s smart glasses ecosystem. The pictures of the meal can be directly captured on the device.
