A video of a wheelchair-bound man with a ventilator attached to his chest has gone viral after he visited a cinema hall to watch Shah Rukh Khan’s latest hit ‘Jawan’. The man, who goes by the name of Anees Farooqi, is a disabled vlogger and a die-hard fan of the Bollywood megastar. He did not let his health condition stop him from seeing his idol on the big screen.
The video was posted by Rohit Gupta, a popular content creator who makes humorous videos and spreads laughter. He wrote, “Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest fan watching Jawan with his ventilator” along with the video on his social media accounts. The video has garnered thousands of likes, comments, and shares on social media. Many people have applauded him for his bravery and spirit.
Anees Farooqi suffers from muscular dystrophy, a rare genetic disorder that causes gradual weakening and wasting of muscles. He requires a ventilator to breathe and a wheelchair to move around.
Shah Rukh Khan, who is known for his humility and generosity, was touched by Anees Farooqi’s video and responded to him on platform X. Reacting to the video, SRK wrote, “Thank you my friend… May God bless you with all the happiness in the world. I feel very grateful to be loved by you. Hope you enjoyed the film. Lots of love.”
Anees Farooqi was overwhelmed by SRK’s reply and thanked him for making his day. He said that he felt like he had won a lottery and that he would cherish this moment for the rest of his life. He also said that he hopes to meet SRK someday and give him a hug.
