Nitin Desai, a well-known art director, was discovered dead at his Karjat studio on August 2nd. According to the most current information, Desai had retreated to his room the night before. That is thought to be the last time he was seen. The authorities believe the death was the result of a suicide attempt.

The body of Nitin Desai was discovered to be hanging from a ceiling fan. Following a report to the police, the body was taken away and submitted for a post-mortem examination. Although the cause of Nitin Desai’s death is unknown, financial problems and debt are being speculated as potential causes of the prominent art director’s suicide. Desai’s alleged suicide comes after the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) declaration. NCLT, this past week, had granted Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company’s appeal to commence a corporate bankruptcy resolution procedure against Desai’s firm, ND’s Art World Private Limited.

Independent MLA Mahesh Baldi of Uran (Raigad), under whose constituency Desai’s ‘ND Art World Pvt Ltd’ was spread across 52 acres, stated to journalists that the gifted artist had been mired down with financial troubles for the previous four-five years, and this could possibly have prompted his suicide. MLA Mahesh Baldi also confirmed the same to the news agency ANI, stating, “He had been under financial pressure and that could be the sole explanation for his passing.”
