The South Korean Tech giant has officially announced on Monday the release of its Android 16 based One UI 8 software to its selected Samsung devices.The update has started its release in South Korea and would eventually be available to all the Samsung device users worldwide.
The multinational company has promised that it will bring the software update to earlier versions in the later period of the year. The company earlier was thoroughly criticized for it had ceased the release of the One UI 7 software update to earlier versions because of the presence of a bug which locked its users out of the devices.
“More users will be able to use advanced and personalized AI in their daily lives, taking one more step further towards AI democratization”, says Samsung Newsroom.
The new software recognizes the content of the user and offers personalized suggestions to its users and Galaxy AI here has become more advanced in securing the data of users.
The new software is powered by multimodal AI transforms the user’s relationship with their galaxy devices to the next level by making the experience effortless.
Gemini Live is the real time AI assistant, works directly by assisting the user without switching between the Apps. The Circle to Search with Google lets its users get more information about anything displayed on the screen after drawing a circle on the screen.
The Galaxy AI for Large Screen users can use Multi Window for making multi-tasking and creation on screen easy and convenient. This feature was added seeing the heightened usage of mobile phones for video making and photography.
The Audio Eraser is another new feature that shall automatically remove the unwanted sounds and any additional noise that floats freely in the background. Hence, this makes a crisper sound quality which is beneficial for videography.
The new clock design adapts itself according to the user’s wallpaper and for FlexWindow the users receive recommendations of auto curated wallpapers from their own gallery.
