Shiv Sena leader Raju Waghmare claimed the Mahayuti alliance would form the government in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation and that exit polls were consistent with his party’s expectations. Waghmare stated that they had previously predicted more than 150 alliance candidates would be elected. He added that the Mumbai Municipal Corporation will have a “Marathi and Hindu” mayor only.
