The city of Ayodhya revered by Shree Ram devotees across India is all geared up in the wake of the grand consecration of the Shree Ram Temple. PM Modi has arrived in Ayodhya for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha Ceremony of the newly built Ram Temple.

The ceremony involves the consecration of “Ram Lalla” the idol of the young Ram. This event will have the presence of many Bollywood celebrities ranging from Amitabh Bachchan to Alia Bhatt. PM Modi is also geared up to be a part of this event.

The ceremony is believed to commence at 12:20 pm, on Monday, and conclude by 1 pm as informed by the temple trustees.  The Prime Minister is going to address the gathering after the ceremony is done.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to visit the recently restored Shiv Mandir at Kuber Tila where he will be performing a Pooja.

The Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir crafted in the classical architectural style called the Nagara, the temple showcases large proportions measuring 380 feet, 250 feet in width, and standing at a majestic height of 161 feet. Its structural stability is maintained by 392 pillars, and it encompasses a total of 44 doors, adding to its architectural grandeur.

The temple’s walls and pillars are engraved with beautiful carvings of the Hindu deities. The ground floor of the sanctorum is where the Lord Ram’s idol will be placed.

The Temple Trust further informed that the preparations for the ceremony had begun on 16th January and will culminate today i.e. 22nd January 2023 during the “Abhijeet Muharta”.

The event is expected to draw in large amounts of viewership both online and on television, the central government has announced the day as a half-day, with several states taking the mandate forward.

Fourteen,14 couples across India were invited as hosts (yajmaans) to inaugurate the new 52 inch Ram Lalla idol intricately designed by the Mysuru based artist Arun Yogiraj.

This event is very significant to the history of India as the trail of constant violence and arguments has consistently aroused communal hatred in the nation since 1992.
